Three hotels seek to locate at KineticPark

Three hotels have expressed interest in locating in KineticPark. One hotel proposes building a convention center, one proposes an extended stay hotel, and the third is a regular hotel.

If the Huntington Municipal Development Authority board accepts a hotel franchise, the hotel will be located on Lot 1 or 2 of the four lower lots of the park reserved for commercial businesses, possibly reducing the planned 14-store shopping center.

If a hotel is approved to open on the property, construction could begin by the spring. Bob Evans restaurant is also planned for Lot 3 of KineticPark and is considering starting construction in either December or March. Click here to see a map of the commercial area of KineticPark.
