KineticPark Committee Meets to Discuss Engineering Issues

The KineticPark committee of the Huntington Municipal Development Authority met Thursday morning to discuss an engineering report regarding a hillside shift at KineticPark and plan next steps.

A report prepared by Triad Engineering confirmed that the slide near Donald Avenue was unengineered fill left from construction. The fill does not affect any of the lots for sale at the tech park.

The committee is still awaiting recommendations on how to repair the current slide. It currently poses no danger to homes on Donald Avenue, but it is being monitored closely.
